This was back in mid 2019 before my fifth metacarpal fracture. After about six months of recovery, I have lost a whole lot of weight (fat as well as lean muscle). Also, I have lost all my strength.
At the very moment, I am literally starting things over again. At the moment, I'm struggling to do Chin Ups for 3 sets of 8 reps. But I'm building back my strength. My incline press is at the lowest. I can barely do 135 for 6 reps. My standing press strength too has gone down.
In short, I'm starting over. On this page, I'll be documenting my fitness journey. I'll be posting my progress from time to time. I'll talk about my training, my strength gains, my nutritional strategies, and so much more.
My guru in fitness is @gregogallagher
I am a big believer in having a mentor in life. For me, Greg is the guy. His fitness approach inspires me to not only get stronger at the gym and build the ideal Hollywood physique but at the same time, the whole training, nutritional and fasting philosophy pushes me to craft the life that I love.
I was hesitant to put out content over here. But you know what, every thing is difficult unless you do it. So here we go.
My current body weight is 170 lbs or 70 KG. I stand 5"11. For the next 6 months, I'll be lean bulking. I plan on getting to 75 KG by the end of my lean bulk by the end of the 6 month window. However, I might jump into cut if I exceed 16% body fat along the journey. So really, it's quite an adventurous journey to begin it. And I'm excited to see where it takes me.
I'm beginning my intermittent fasting from today. Probably, I'll be fasting for the first 4-5 hours. My protein source would be mostly chicken and beef. Well, hey, let's get the ball rolling. Enough talk for today.
Until next time
